Thinking of getting a digital signage system for your workplace, but just want to see how things go next month, (quarter, year, etc.)? My advice is don’t wait, and here’s why.
If you’re looking for a better way to communicate with your employees, that implies that there’s a benefit to doing so. Hopefully you’ve already done an internal needs assessment to identify important issues. Every one of those issues carries a cost with it—the cost of fixing it and the cost of letting it fester. Whether the issue is a “hard” one like safety or productivity, or a “soft” one like teamwork or morale, the cost savings from addressing the issue and fixing the problem usually far outweighs the cost of a digital signage system.
Take a moment right now and think of the biggest reason why you need better communication. What would the cost savings add up to if you could wave a magic wand and fix it all today? I’ll bet the annual savings are in the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. Enough to easily pay for most digital signage systems with an ROI well in excess of 100%.
So don’t wait for things to get better. MAKE them better by doing a better job of addressing your issues head-on through better communication.
