FRANK KENNA III
CEO and President
Frank has the vision to see around corners and leads Marlin accordingly. Frank is responsible for leading Marlin and for setting the company’s overall strategic direction. To paraphrase Harry Truman, the buck stops with Frank.
Frank constantly develops new ideas to help industry leaders implement employee communication programs that engage workers, influence behavior, and improve profits. He’s passionate about leveraging technology to reach employees in new and innovative ways.
Under his leadership as a third generation executive, Marlin has made the successful transition from being a print publisher to a software developer providing SaaS-based solutions for workplace communication to more than 8,000 customers. Frank holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from Boston University.
Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer
David makes numbers make sense and is passionate about serving our customers. With more than 28 years of financial experience, Dave is responsible not only for Marlin’s finance, but for the company’s Customer Care, operations, human resources, back office processing, and warehouse management.
Dave is passionate about building a customer-centered culture at Marlin that delivers top-notch service and streamlined processes.
Previously Dave worked as a cost accountant and assistant controller for The Marlin Firearms Company, and for C. Cowles & Company. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Quinnipiac University, New Haven.
Vice President of Marketing
Jude is an evangelist for visual communication in the workplace. Jude is the mastermind who develops and executes the company’s integrated marketing strategy which includes brand awareness, market research, lead generation, direct marketing, events, PR, business development support, and training.
An expert in visual communication in the workplace, Jude frequently speaks at industry events including Digital Signage Expo, Corp Comm Expo, VPPPA, Behavior Based Safety, and others.
With over 30 years of experience in marketing, communications strategy and business development, Jude has held executive positions at Pappas MacDonnell, Caribiner International, Automatic Data Processing, and other companies. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Arcadia University.
Vice President of Sales
Jim is the driving force behind our sales force and leads from the front. Jim is responsible for managing and inspiring Marlin’s field sales force, and for defining sales strategies for both existing and new products.
Jim is also exploring new channel opportunities and strategic partnerships. He brings over 25 years of executive sales management, business development, and operations experience to Marlin.
Previously Jim held various senior-level sales positions at Dun & Bradstreet, Shunra Software, Keynote Systems and other companies. He holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Curry College.
Chief Content Officer
Carolyn eats, sleeps, and breathes content strategy and development. Carolyn is a skilled digital content strategist deeply committed to figuring out how to leverage trends to create powerful content that resonates with our customers’ employees.
As Chief Content Officer, Carolyn introduces a wide array of innovative digital content that helps our customers achieve their goals. She owns the vision, strategy, design, and execution of content that runs on Marlin’s workplace digital signage platform.
Carolyn heads up a team of writers and designers who develop content that addresses unique workplace issues. She’s passionate about engaging people with innovative content that’s relevant in today’s changing workplace.
Previously Carolyn served as Chief Innovation and Digital Officer at RJ Media Group. Carolyn holds a M.A. in American Studies and a B.A. in Soviet Studies from Trinity College.
Chief Product and Technology Officer
John is a tech guy, an innovative guy, a business guy, and a customer guy. As his job titles suggest, John owns Marlin’s product vision and strategy and is responsible for all product design and development.
John is a seasoned business process change agent who leads a diverse team of developers, product managers, UI/UX designers and quality assurance professionals.
With over 20 years’ experience in information technology management and media, he has a unique perspective on what it takes to drive growth and innovation in products that enhance communication in today’s workplace. John recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Technologies, and Infrastructure at Monster Worldwide in Boston, MA. Prior to that, he served as Chief Technology Officer at The St. Petersburg Times and Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at the Hartford Courant.
John holds an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College.
