Last week the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued another patent to Marlin. This is the third patent for our original and continuing innovation in workplace digital communications. But what does that have to do with your decision about buying digital signage (DS)?
Patents alone shouldn’t influence which DS you buy. That decision should be based on several factors including:
• What problems the DS will solve for you
• How focused the DS is for the purpose you’re buying it
• The provider’s commitment to future versions of their software
• The software’s ease of use
• Inclusion of content so you don’t have to start from scratch every day
I could write a blog on each one of those factors, but the point I want to make is that our commitment to all five of them is why we have several patents already and more on the way.
You see, we’re innovators who are 100% committed to helping our customers communicate their workplace issues to their employees. To do this, we have to be continually in touch with our thousands of customers to see how our products are solving their problems, and how we can do better. With technology changing the workplace at a rapidly increasing pace, there’s always a better way. So we ask them what new problems they have and then design new features into our products to solve them. This results in a defined product pipeline that stretches into 2015, and conceptually beyond. All while retaining our signature ease of use and industry-leading content.
It’s that process of innovation for our customers that results in new patents, not to mention our coast-to-coast network of full-time representatives ready to help you with your DS needs.
Dedication to the product, the customer and a laser focus on workplace digital communications are the reasons you should buy your DS from Marlin.
